RuBisCO - Ribulose Bis Phosphate Carboxylase-Oxygenase is the enzyme involved in the fixation of inroganic carbon in the carbon dioxide into the organic carbon of glucose. This enzyme can give rise to two different products based on the substrate it binds to. Since, RuBisCO catalyses a dismutation reaction, it was earlier also called carboxy dismutase.
