Fabric dipped in Q is made of synthetic fibres whereas fabric dipped in P is made up of cellulose fibres.


The absorption of water is usually greater in natural fibres (made up of cellulose) than synthetic fibres.
From the given graph, it is evident that the amount of water left is less in container P indicating that a natural fabric made of cellulose is dipped in it. Since beaker Q has more amount of water left, it implies that fabric dipped in Q is made up of synthetic fibres.
