A sec-Butyl
B n-Butyl
CH3CH2CH2CH2MgBr+CH3OHCH3CH2CH2CH3+CH3OMgBr

In this reactions the Grignard reagent acts as base while methanol release acidic H so acid base reaction takes place.

So R can be both A and B which will give n-butane.

While in option C and 3 carbon atoms which won't give n-butane as a product,
