Solution

The correct option is A Both statement I & II are correct
Anthers are the pollen-producing part of the flower, the male reproductive part of a flower is the androecium which is composed of many stamens.
A normal dithecous or dithecous anther is made up of two anther lobes, which are connected by a strip of the sterile part called connective. Two anther lobes contain four elongated cavities or pollen sacs (microsporangia) in which pollen grains are produced. At a young age these dithecous anthers are tetralocular and have 4 lobes but then a septum develops and these at maturity become bilocular.

So, the correct option is 'Both statement I & II are correct'.
