Solution

The correct option is A S1 and S2 are True; Both are independent statements
German aggression was one of the main causes for both the world wars. During the Cold War, Germany was divided as the ‘Federal Republic of Germany’ in the western Germany and Eastern Germany as the ‘German Democratic Republic’. Western Germany was under France, Britain and USA while east Germany was under Soviet Union. Thus Germany was capitalist on its west and communist on its east.
