At the Tokyo Conference it was agreed that Indian National Army (INA) would be formed under the command of the Independence League. INA was formally setup on 1 September 1942. The Bangkok Conference was attended by more than 150 delegates of East Asian Countries. One of the resolutions passed during this conference was that Subhash Chandra Bose should be called from Europe and be made the leader of these movements. Captain Mohan Singh was set to lead the INA and Rash Behari Bose was appointed as the President of the same.
