The correct option is D S1,S2 and S3
The Cabinet Committee declared that the shift of government would happen in three stages. The Muslim League grew suspicious of the Congress and announced a one-day Hartal called the Direct Action Day on 16, August 1946. There were clashes between Hindu and Muslims. Mountbatten held talks with Gandhi, Jinnah, and others where he prepared plans for partition of India and Pakistan. Sir Cyril Radcliffe, along with his commission was assigned to demarcate India and Pakistan border. He marked a border on the west as West Pakistan and on the east as East Pakistan.
