Sol: From Newtons third law

Mass of ball x velocity = Mass of bat x Velocity of the swing

Velocity of the bat's swing = mass of ball x velocity of ball / mass of bat
= 0.1 kg x 100 m/sec / 10 kg
= 1 m/ sec


Hence the Velocity of bat's swing is 1 m/ sec.
