Salman buys 1 kg iron for ₹ 12 and sells it for ₹ 14. How much does he earn when he sells 32 kg of iron?

Money earned by Salman by selling 1 kg of iron = ₹ 14 – ₹12 = ₹2
Hence, money earned by him selling 32 kg of iron = ₹2 × 33

This can be calculated as follows:

×302230×2=602×2=4
By adding the numbers in last row,
32 x 2 = 60 + 4 = 64
Therefore, by selling 32 kg of iron, Salman earns ₹64.
