Open in App
Solution

SP of each cycle =Rs. 2500

Profit % for first cycle =25%

CP of the first cycle =SP×100100+Profit%=2500×100(100+25)=250000125=Rs. 2000

Loss % for the second cycle =25%

And CP of the second cycle =SP×100100Loss%=2500×100(10025)=25000075=Rs. 3333.33

Total CP of two cycle =2000+3333.33=Rs. 5333.3

Total SP =2500+2500=Rs. 5000

So, CP>SP, hence loss.

Net Loss %=Total LossTotal CP×100

=SpCPCP×100%

=5333.350005000×100%

=333.350×1%

=6.67%
