Solution

The correct option is C

Rs 900

Number of shares bought = Rs 4050/90 =45

Selling price of 1 share = Rs (100 - 30) = Rs 70

Selling price of 45 shares = 70 × 45 = Rs 3150

Cost price of 45 shares = Rs 4050

Therefore loss = Rs (4050 - 3150) = Rs 900
