Sam has prepared 24 L of juice, which needs to be poured into packets that can hold 500 mL of juice for distribution. How many juice packets can be made like this?

We know that 1 L = 1000 mL.
Quantity of juice in one packet = 500 mL

No. of packets that can be made from 1 L juice = 1000 ÷ 500
= 2.

Number of juice packets that can be made from 24 L juice
= 24 × 2 = 48.
So, Sam can make a total of 48 juice packets for distribution.
