Samant collects 180 white coloured stones to make idols for his friends. He requires 30 white coloured stones to make a single idol. The cost of making each idol is ₹2000. Wha is the total cost of making all the idols?

Total Number of stones = 180
No.of stones required for each idol = 30

No.of idols made = 180 ÷ 30

Here as both of the numbers have one zero , we can keep the zero aside and do the calculation for 18 ÷ 3 , which we know is 6
So the total no.of idols made = 6

Cost of making 1 idol = ₹2000
Total cost of making 6 idols = 6 × ₹2000 = ₹12,000
