Find the ratio of the number of English newspapers to the number of Hindi newspapers.

Given, total number of newspapers =312
And the number of English newspapers =216
Number of Hindi newspapers =Total number of newspapers - Number of English Newspapers =312-216=96

The ratio of the number of English newspapers to the number of Hindi newspapers =NumberofEnglishnewspapersNumberofHindinewspapers

=21696

=94 (on dividing numerator and denominator by 24)

=9:4
Hence, the ratio of the number of English newspapers to the number of Hindi newspapers is 9:4.
