let present age and Sanjay=S and present age of his brother=B

So,

$S=\frac{1}{2}B$

$B=2S$

After 6 years Sanjay's age will be S+6 and his brother's age will be B+6

So,

$\begin{array}{c}S+6=\frac{3}{5}\left(B+6\right)S+6=\frac{3}{5}\left(2S+6\right)S+30=6S+18,S=12So,B=2\left(12\right)=24\end{array}$

So, present age of Sanjay will be 12years and his brother's age is 24 years
