Solution

Step 1: Find the ratio of Sannidhi's income to her expenditure

If pand qare two quantities, then the ratio of p to q is pq and is denoted as p:q where the terms ( p and q) are in the same unit and do not have any common factors other than 1.

It is given,

Sannidhi's monthly income =18000

Sannidhi's monthly savings =3000

Sannidhi's monthly expenditure =18000-3000

=15000

So, the ratio of Sannidhi's income to her expenditure is: 18000:15000

Step 2: Simplify the ratio

Now let's simplify 1800015000:

The highest common factor (H.C.F) of 18000 and 15000 is 3000.

On dividing both the terms by 3000, we get:

18000÷300015000÷3000=65

Hence, the ratio of Sannidhi's income to her savings is 6:5.
