Santa wants to distribute sweets to Grade 6 students on Christmas morning. Grade 6 has Section A and Section B, having 10 and 15 students, respectively. The Section in which Santa will distribute sweets will be either A or B. Find the least number of swets that Santa must carry with him such that every student in section A or B receives an equal number of sweets.

The section in which Santa will distribute sweets was not decided earlier.

As the number of sweets received by each student in section A or B is equal, Santa must carry sweets in multiple of 10 and 15.

For least number of sweets, Santa must carry least common multiple of 10 and 15 sweets.

Few multiples of 10 and 15 are:
10×1=10
10×2=20
10×3=30
10×4=40

15×1=15
15×2=30
15×3=45
15×4=60

The least common multiple is 30.
Required number of sweets is 30.
