Solution

Case I: Principal valueP=5000/-
Rate=r=10%
Time n=3years
So,
A1=P(1+r100)n
A1=5000(1+10100)3
A1=5000×1110×1110×1110
A1=5×11×11×11
A1=6655
Now, Case II:
Principal value=P=5000/-
Rate=r=12%
Time n=3 years
So,
A2=P(1+r100)n
A2=5000(1+12100)3
A2=5000(1+325)3
A2=5000×(2825)3
A2=5000×28×28×2825×25×25
A2=200×28×28×2825×25
A2=8×28×28×2825
A2=7024.64
Now,
Profit=A2A1
=7024.646655
=36964/-
Profit=Rs. 369.64/-
Hence, this is the answer.
