Solution

Find the greatest number of bouquets she can make.

Sara wants to make bouquets with the same number of each color flower in each bouquet. For this purpose, she will find a number that divides 16 and 24.

The GCF of 16 and 24 that will give a number which divides 16and 24:

16=2×824=3×8

Now, GCF of 16 and 24 is 8.

Thus, the most significant number of bouquets she can make is 8bouquets and each bouquet must have 2 red and 3 yellow flowers respectively.
