Cost of biscuits = Rs.158.
Sales Tax @ 6% = Rs.158 $\times \frac{6}{100}=\frac{948}{100}$
= Rs.9.48
Total price of biscuits = Rs. 158 + Rs. 9.48
= 167.48
Cost of cosmetic - goods = Rs. 354.
Sales Tax @9% = Rs. 354 $\times \frac{9}{100}$
= $\frac{3186}{100}=Rs.31.86$
Total cost of cosmetic goods
= Rs.354 +31.86 = Rs. 385.86
$\therefore$ Total amount paid by Sarita
= Rs. 167.48 + 385.86 = Rs.553.34
