(a). Saritha can preserve plants by making herbarium.

Steps for making herbarium:

1. Collect the plant twig with leaves and flowers.
2. Place the plant part in 8m papers and press it.
3. Change the paper every day for 5 to 6 days.
4. When the plant is fully dried place the plant in a white plane sheet and stick it with cellotape.
5. Identify the plant with the help of teachers and experts.

(b). Saritha can identify the plant by checking the morphological features of stem, flowers and leaves.
