The correct option is A Lower town
The cities were divided into two sections. One was smaller, and the other was bigger. The smaller section was raised above the ground, about 12 meters high and had massive walls. These walls protected the area from floods and were known as “citadel”. Archaeologists believe that the citadel housed important people like the kings and priests. The other section was bigger and had all the residential buildings and public facilities. It was the place for the common man situated below the citadel; it was known as “lower town”.
