The correct option is A 45
Given,
Speed for 20 km (V1)=40 kmph.
Speed for 10 km (V2)=50 kmph.

The average of two speeds is =V1+V22
=40+502km/hr.
=45 km/hr

This is different from the average speed, where we used to calculate the total distance travelled upon the total time taken.

The average of n speeds is =V1+V2+.......+Vnn.
