Given equation is, $x^{2} - 64 = 0$
By using formula, $a^{2} - b^{2} = (a + b) (a - b)$
$x^{2} - 64 = x^{2} - 8^{2}$
$(x - 8) (x + 8) = 0$
$∴ x = - 8, 8$
