Question

Scientists say that there were two products after the Big Bang. One was matter and the other was anti-matter. Both of them were produced equally (50% matter and 50% anti-matter). But today we see only matter everywhere. Where has the anti-matter gone?

Solution

It is not that antimatter disappeared… it was just that anti-protons were never created.

Physicists have no idea of why matter exists over anti-matter. The reason why is because what they know about the big bang, comes from their working on the theories of General Relativity and Quantum Field Theory backward. The problem is that these theories only account for 6% of the energy in the universe. Any conclusion they draw from this method is basically telling you that 94% of the energy in the universe had nothing to do with the big bang.
