Solution

The correct option is A 14.28%
The total cost price of electronic goods for Sekar = Rs. 2500 + Rs. 1000 = Rs. 3500
Given, selling price = Rs. 4000; [which is more than total C.P.]
Therefore, profit = Rs. 4000 - Rs. 3500 = Rs. 500
Also, profit% = profittotal CP×100%
= 5003500×100=14.28%
