Select all the options which are true in case of combustion when compared to respiration.
food
water
air
Combustion is a fast process and it occurs in non-living things whereas respiration is a slow stepwise process which occurs in living things. Combustion occurs at high temperatures and respiration occurs at body temperatures. Energy is produced in the form of heat and light in combustion but energy is released in steps and stored in a chemical molecule in case of respiration. During combustion, carbon dioxide and water are released in one step without the help of an enzyme. During respiration, food is converted to carbon dioxide and water in many steps and these steps are catalyzed by enzymes.
