The correct option is
B ii, iii, iv, vi
The fluid present in lymphatic system is called lymph. It is a colourless fluid containing specialised lymphocytes which are responsible for the immune responses of the body.
It transports oxygen, nutrients, hormones, etc. to the body cells and brings carbon dioxide and other metabolic wastes, from the body cells to venous system.
Lymph is contained in the lymphatic system which comprises of lymphatic capillaries, lymphatic vessels, lymphatic nodes and lymphatic ducts.
Lymph is derived from the tissue fluid. As the blood passes through the capillaries in tissues, some water along with many small water soluble substances move out into the spaces between the cells of tissue leaving the larger proteins and most of the formed elements in the blood blood vessels. This fluid released out is called the tissue fluid. When the tissue fluid enters the lymphatic capillaries, it is known as lymph.
Lymph contains less antibodies than plasma. It just transports lymphocytes and antibodies from the lymph nodes to the blood.
It is unidirectional.
It helps to conserve protein and destroy the invading microorganisms and foreign particles in the lymph nodes.
So, only (ii), (iii), (iv) and (vi) are correct.
