Solution

The correct option is A II and IV only
As the blastocyst undergoes the process of gastrulation, there is the formation of layers known as ectoderm, endoderm and mesoderm (the three germ layers). The various tissues, organs and organ systems are derived from these germ layers.
The epidermis forms the outermost layer of the skin. The skin is the largest external organ of our body. The dermis (lies below the epidermis) and the hypodermis (lies below the dermis). The skin cells of the epidermis are derived from the ectoderm.
The kidney is the excretory organ of our body. It helps in the elimination and excretion of waste materials produced in our body. The tubule cells of the kidneys are derived from the mesoderm.
Blood is the fluid connective tissue that helps in the transport of various substances such as nutrients, gases, hormones, antibodies, metabolic wastes, etc. RBCs form one of the components of blood that contain haemoglobin and help in the transportation of oxygen and carbon dioxide. RBCs are derived from the mesoderm.
The thyroid gland is present in the neck, in front of the trachea or windpipe. It is involved in the secretion of thyroid hormones. The cells of the thyroid are derived from the endoderm.
Hence, we see that only II and IV are correct.
