Solution

The correct options are
A O>O2
C N2>O2
D N2>O
A) The first ionization potential of nitrogen molecule is higher than the first ionization potential of oxygen molecule as nitrogen molecule contains a triple bond which is stronger than the double bond between O atoms. Hence, the option A is correct and the option D is incorrect.

B) The first ionization potential of nitrogen molecule is higher than that of oxygen atom as in nitrogen molecule; the electron is attracted by two nuclei. Hence, the option B is correct.

C) The first ionization potential of oxygen atom is greater than that of oxygen molecule as in oxygen molecule; the electron is removed from antibonding pi orbital which requires less energy. Thus, the option C is correct.
