XeF2 has 2 bond pairs and 3 lone pairs and so is sp3d hybridized with trigonal bipyramidal geometry in which, the 3 lone pairs are placed in the equatorial positions (according to Bent's rule) to minimize the repulsions and the two F atoms are placed in the axial positions, giving a linear shape.

[XeO6]4 has 6 bonding atoms and no lone pairs and so, is sp3 hybridized with its geometry and shape both being octahedral.
