Given quadratic expression is y=x2+2x1
On comparing with standard form of quadratic expression y=ax2+bx+c
we get, a=1,b=2,c=1 and D=b24ac=224(1)(1)=0
Now, the vertex of the quadratic polynomial is given by:
(b2a,D4a)

Where b2a=22(1)=1

& D4a=04(1)=0

vertex (1,0)
Now, y intercept is given as the value of y for x=0
yintercept=(0,c)
Thus, we can draw the graph of the polynomial as:
