An imaginary line that divides a figure into two equal halves is called a line of symmetry of the figure.

On folding a figure along its line of symmetry, the tiny circles in it should overlap.

It can be noted that if we fold figures A and C along the dotted lines, then the tiny circles would not overlap on each other.

Hence, figures A and C are not divided into mirror halves about the given dotted lines.
