The correct option is A Pituitary hormone - Steroid hormones
Peptide hormones are those which are chemically made up of short chains of amino acids. These include hypothalamic hormones like antidiuretic hormone, oxytocin etc.
Protein hormones are larger in size as compared to peptide hormones, they show longer chains of amino acids eg. pituitary hormones, insulin, glucagon etc.
Amino acid derivative hormones are those which are derived from amino acids. These are relatively smaller in size as compared to the other hormones and include epinephrine and norepinephrine.
Steroid hormones are made up of cholesterol and are chemically steroids. These include cortisol, testosterone, estradiol and progesterone which are released from the glands like adrenal cortex, testes and ovaries respectively. The steroid hormones are not secreted by the pitutary gland.
