The option that has an error, is the correct option.
Option B: The error lies in part (b).
As we can see, the tense of both parts (a) and (c) are in the simple past 'asked' and 'lived'.
In contrast, the verb in (b) is 'know', which is in the simple present tense.
The tense should be consistent in the sentence. Since two parts express the past tense, it is natural that we choose the odd one out, i.e. part (b), where 'know' is the error.
Hence, option B is the correct option with the error.
The other parts (a) and (c) do not have any error in them. They are grammatically correct and are complete in meaning.
Hence options A and C are not the right answers.
Option D is incorrect because the sentence has an error (b).
