Solution

The correct options are
A He was a slave from the Aibak tribe.
B He was given the title of Malik.
C His dynasty was known as the Mamluk dynasty.
When Ghori left for Afghanistan, he put one of his trusted generals Qutub-ud-din Aibak in charge of administration in Delhi. He was a slave from the Aibak tribe who worked his way up to become a general. He was given the title of Malik and Sipahsalar by Ghori.

After Ghori’s death, he became the first sultan of Delhi. Qutub-ud-din’s dynasty came to be known as the Mamluk or the Slave dynasty because of the humble beginnings of its founder as a slave. Qutub-ud-din Aibak started his reign with Lahore as his capital. He later shifted the capital to Delhi.
