Seminal vesicles contribute fructose, citric acid and other nutrients along with fibrinogen and prostaglandins. Secretions from prostate gland contain calcium ions, phosphate ion etc and are alkaline in nature. Bulbourethral glands secrete alkaline mucus and is important for the lubrication of penis.
