Open in App
Solution

Each sense organ has its respective sensory receptor. Example: Eyes - photoreceptor, ears- auditory receptor, nose- olfactory receptor, tongue- gustatory receptor and skin- cutaneous receptor. Upon stimulation, the receptors convert the information into nerve signals. These are then transferred to the brain where they are processed to create a sensation.
