Shakuntala bought 70 litres of milk at the rate of Rs 15 per litre. She sold all of it for Rs 1260. What was her profit or loss?

Cost price of 1 litre of milk = C.P = Rs 15
∴ Cost price of 70 litres of milk = Total C.P = Rs 15 × 70 = Rs 1050
Total Selling Price = Total S.P = Rs 1260
Since, Total S.P > Total C.P, a profit is made.
Profit = Total S.P ˗ Total C.P
= Rs 1260 – Rs 1050
= Rs 210
