Shalini was drawing a circle with the help of a compass. She drew a circle as shown below.

What could be the error committed by Shalini while drawing a circle?

Solution

While drawing a circle using a compass generally the circle may go wrong due to:
1. The compass screw could have been left loose and so the limb with pencil would move away.
2. The compass needle tip could have been moved by mistake.

While drawing this circle, Shalini could have displaced the compass needle tip and so the circle looks like as if there are two different circles intersecting here.
