The expiry date on the medicine is 01/12/2022
Number of days available to use = Expiry date - date the medice was bought
= Number of days between the two dates 26/05/2022 and 01/12/2022
= Number of days between 26/05/2022 to 01/06/2022+
Number of days between 01/06/2022 to 01/12/2022
=5 days + 6 months

So he bought the medicine about 5days and 6 months before the expiry.
