LCM of 3 and 4 is 12.

shared can do (1/3rd) of the work in one day

said can do (1/4th) of the work in one day

Working together, shared and said can do (1/3)+(1/4) = 7/12th of the work in one day. So they would require 12/7 days to complete the task.

so time taken for 1 chair=12/7=1.7 days

so time taken for 14 chair=14*12/7=24 days
