Let Shobos present age $=x$

Her mother's present age $=6x$

Five years hence, their ages will be $x+5$ and $6x+5$.

According to the question, we have

$(x+5)=\frac{1}{3}\times 6x$

$x+5=2x$

$\therefore x=5$

Shobos Age $=5$ yrs

Shobos mother's age $=30$ yrs.
