The given diagram shows the epipetalous stem of brinjal.
Sometimes the filaments of stamens are attached with the petals to some extent. Such stamens are called epipetalous stamens.
In China rose, the stamens are united into one bunch or one bundle this condition is known as known as monadelphous. When stamens are attached to the petals, they are epipetalous.
