Both automobile and the human body share similarities as well as several differences. Like an automobile, the human body also needs a constant input of fuel in the form of food which is burnt (oxidized) for energy demand to continuously work. Also, there are various small parts in an automobile that works as a unit, similarly there are trillions of cells inside the human body that works as a unit.
Though the human body is self-regulating it does not require an external agent like needed for an automobile. Also, the human body is capable of reproducing and regenerating cells in case of damage, unlike automobile where even small scale damage might result in total stoppage of its work and need replacing the damaged part.
