Solution
(a) Origin of replication (Ori): It's a sequence from where the replication starts and any piece of DNA start to replicate within the host cells when linked to this sequence. It is responsible for controlling the copy number of the linker DNA.
(b) Ampicillin resistant gene (ampR): It is a selectable marker which is resistant to the antibiotic amphicillin. The plasmid becomes useful for the cell in the presence of a selectable marker.
(c) Repressor of primer (rop): It codes for the proteins involved in the replication of the plasmid which is involved in the regulation of copy number of pBR322 plasmids of E.coli.
