Solution
The cell membranes remain fluid due to :
The mosaic pattern of a membrane which helps in free movement.
The membrane is made up of many proteins, lipids, cholesterol which allows transport, hence maintains fluidity.
Phospholipids are the constituents of membranes, when they are compressed in the functioning of membranes they will form kinks and thus results in the formation of space between phospholipids molecules and helps in maintenance of fluidity.
