Solution
There is no mixing of deoxygenated blood and oxygenated blood in the human heart normally because:
1. The human heart has four chambers with two separate chambers for each oxygenated and deoxygenated blood.
2. In order to increase the efficiency of oxygen transport, mixing of blood is prevented by double circulation.
