Dear Student, 1. Spermicides- Chemical method in which spermicides such as lactic acid, citric acid, boric acid, zinc sulphate and potassium permanganate in the form of tablets, creams jellies and paste are inserted into vagina before insemination to prevent sperms from entering the uterus. 2. Saheli- It is a type of oral contraceptive pill contains nonsteroidal preparation called centchroman, taken once in a week after an initial intake of twice a week dose for three months to inhibit ovulation and implantation. 3. Implant- It is a new contraception in which subcutaneous implantation of synthetic progesteron is done. It acts similar to oral contraceptive by blocking ovulation and thickens cervical mucus to prevent sperm transport. 4. Vasectomy- It is a sterilization technique for males in which two vasa deferentia are cut and tiep up. 5. Tubectomy- Sterilization technique for females in which oviducts are cut and tied up.
