Dear student,

Living organisms which are not visible through naked eyes are micro-organisms.They are very tiny.They were first observed by Anton Von Leeuwenhoek in 1674 using a microscope.Study of microorganisms is known as microbiology.They can be grown in labs in a medium called culture media.Bacteria, virus , fungi , algae and protozoa are different type of organisms.
Uses can be;

1. Use of making curd with bacteria.
2. Use of yeast in preparing cakes or breads.
3. Use of yeast in alcohol making.
4. Use of mushroom in food industries.
5. Use of microbes in medicine.
6. Use of microbes in increasing soil fertility.
